The drought crisis that took grip of Cape Town early 2018 left a huge impact on the lives of many Capetonians. Stor-Age, South Africa’s leading self storage company, took the initiative to launch #6BFORME alongside the City of Cape Town. The aim was to aid the water crisis and raise awareness of the allocated 50L of water per day. At the end of last month, 10 000 litres of nationally donated water arrived in Cape Town to be distributed to those areas and communities most in need.

Stor-Age opened up all of their stores country-wide as water collection points. They then encouraged South Africans to donate store-bought, sealed water. They are overwhelmed as a result of the support of this initiative. The recent delivery of water demonstrates the generous and community-focused heart of South Africans.
